
Tim Mertzlufft has over 10 years of experience as a residential real estate sales agent and broker in Chicago and its near suburbs. Having lived in Lincoln Park for 17 years, Tim has a great knowledge of the Chicago real estate market, neighborhoods and the area’s top vendors to assist in real estate transactions. Tim represents buyers and sellers in all aspects of a residential real estate transaction.
Tim focuses his practice in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wicker Park, Bucktown, West Loop, Roscoe Village, Lincoln Square and North Center. He has also worked in Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Naperville, Wheaton and many of the surrounding suburbs of Chicago.
Tim represents a diverse group of buyers and sellers, from first-time home buyers, to buyers stepping up or down in a home, to second-home buyers, to investors. He has a unique knack at making certain that a buyer finds the home that thrills, no matter how long it takes.
In representing sellers, Tim is a certified staging professional qualified to prepare, and bring out a home’s best features for the market. On occasion, Tim provides the additional service of using his own inventory of furnishings to enhance a home for showing to sell.

Tim is a proud Jayhawk from the University of Kansas, where he majored in economics and played varsity baseball.
Tim lives in Lincoln Park with his wife, daughter and two black Labrador Retrievers. He is a prior member of the RANCH Triangle Association Board of Directors and has extensive experience with neighborhood projects. Showing his true love of real estate, Tim has invested in real estate in Chicago, Northern Wisconsin and Scottsdale, Arizona. In his free time, Tim enjoys playing tennis and golf, and lots of play time at Wrightwood Park with his daughter.
