A native to Chicago, Sonia grew up on the northwest side of the city. Before graduating from DePaul University with a business degree, she attended Regina Dominican high school in Wilmette, Illinois. She has lived in a few different neighborhoods of the city including Lincoln Park and Bucktown.

Sonia began her career as a sales associate with the Koenig and Strey Company in 2000 and joined the Collazo Group in 2002. Since then, she has been part of a successful team of real estate marketing and sales consultants. She currently works with a wide range of clients including first time home buyers, investors, and developers.

Since getting into the real estate business, Sonia has discovered a passion for rehabbing homes with her husband, Jack. Presently, she resides in the Irving Park neighborhood with her husband, son, Vince, and their two dogs.

In her free time, Sonia enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her family and friends.
