Julie Siragusa, principal of The Siragusa Group, began selling residential real estate in 2001 and knew right away that she had found her calling. Seller Service

The Siragusa Group’s sellers benefit from the personal attention, aggressive marketing strategy, and frequent communication they offer. Prior to listing a seller’s home, they assist with staging and presentation suggestions, devise an individualized pricing and marketing strategy, and oversee the design and content of all marketing materials. Once the property is on the market, they offer a variety of suitable print & online advertising vehicles for the home. The Siragusa Group accompanies all showings, to ensure that the buyers receive detailed information on the spot and are exposed to all the home’s nuances. They provide feedback after each showing via email and often obtain completed surveys from the buyers’ agents with specific comments about the property. They offer bi-monthly reports on the home’s overall activity and data on how the listing is performing compared to similar properties in the area. To maximize a property’s activity and to minimize its market time, every 30 days, they prepare an updated Comparative Market Analysis for their sellers and offer advice on any necessary staging or pricing adjustments.

Team Structure

As Julie’s business grew over the years, she assembled a team of trained professionals who share her desire to achieve a higher standard of service and professionalism. The Group consists of Amanda Fallico, the team’s Office Manager & Transaction Coordinator. Amanda graduated from Depaul University with a degree in Communications & Business Management; Melissa Wright, the team’s Marketing Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator. Melissa graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Communications; Rachel Moltz, an Agent Specialist who represents buyers, sellers, & developers. Rachel graduated from the University of Vermont with a Major in Psychology and a minor in Business and holds a Masters of Science in Human Resources from Illinois Institute of Technology; Michelle Orton, an Agent Specialist who represents buyers & sellers. Michelle graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BFA in Art History and a concentration in Psychology. Michelle holds a J.D. from Depaul University College of Law and was a practicing real estate attorney for 10 years; and Tod Pratt an 18-year veteran Agent Specialist who represents buyers, sellers, & developers. Tod graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Maranatha College.

Julie’s Background

Prior to her career in real estate, Julie was a classically trained professional dancer; this upbringing was instrumental in defining her intense level of commitment, work ethic, and focus. She then went on to graduate from the University of Chicago in Hyde Park. Julie currently resides in Bucktown with her husband, and in her spare time, enjoys dining at new restaurants with friends—many of whom are past clients, practicing Bikram yoga, reading, and supporting the fine and performing arts in Chicago.
